WHAT DIETARY CHANGES AND SUPPLEMENTS CAN HELP ME? A CHRISTIAN PERSON PASSES AWAY, AND MY QUESTION IS: WHEN DOES THEIR SOUL REACH HEAVEN? EVEN THE WORST OF WORST PEOPLE DESERVE A CHANCE TO GO RIGHT, CORRECT? Read Transcript

- Well it is time for e-mail,

and Pat is ready.- Let's go for it.

- Terri writes, "I am only 70 years old."

She's just a youngster Pat,

but having signs of dementia.

"I have to fight back panic,

"even though I know the Scriptures.

"What dietary changes andsupplements can help me?"

- Well, here's some stuff.

Dr. Bredesen is on the program with us

and he has a website about Alzheimer's.

He's got something he calls a cognoscopy,

on your cognitive abilities

and this is available.

The rates and protocol, his website's

on the bottom of your screen right there

and I recommend what he'sgot for you, but look

here's some other things he suggests:

Number one, get the right foods.

Stop eating sugars, stopeating processed foods,

and get good exercise.

Take supplements like tumeric,

curcumin, probiotics, vitamin D.

Keep your mind active withpuzzles, get enough sleep,

lower stress, and stayfrom environmental toxins

like mold, smoke, and heavy metal.

That's just some of the stuff.

But anyhow, Dr. Bredesen'shas got the thing for you

and a cognoscopy, itsounds like colonoscopy.

- [Anchor] (laughing) It does.

- But it's not, is for yourman, your cognitive abilities.

- All right, great advice.

Walter writes in:

"A Christian person passesaway and my question is:

"When does their soul reach heaven?

"I kept hearing conflicting things."

- Well you remember whenJesus was on the cross

and the thief said to him:"Remember me when you come

"into your kingdom"

and Jesus said: "And this day, you

"will be with me in paradise."

So I think there is nosuch thing as soul sleep.

When you die, you know Paulsaid: "I'm going straight

"between two, whether youwill remain in the flesh

"which is evil of you or topart and be with the Lord."

So when you depart, you are with the Lord,

if you a Christian.

Otherwise you depart andyou go some place else

that isn't too pleasant.

All right.

- This day.

I love that.

Those two words.

- This day you will be withme with me in paradise.

- This day.- This day.

- All right.

Allen says: "I find the storyof Solomon to be amazing.

"700 wives, 300 concubines,

"and he's supposed to bethe expert on sexual purity?

"I have to ask, did he havesex with all of those women?

"And David had several wives

"when he had his affair with Bathsheba.

"Was it just part of their culture?

"A kind of macho thing?

"And because of this, didGod just look the other way?"

- Well, in those days,

rulers made marriage of commitments,

which is one way ofbuilding their kingdom.

And so you married variousprincesses, which meant

that you and the princess'sfamily is united with you

and you therefore unite the kingdom.

I don't know about the sex thing.

It was a pretty incredible sexual appetite

to have 700 wives and 300concubines, but anyhow,

this whole idea ofmonogamy wasn't something

that was normality for the rulers

of those days, and sothey have several wives.

You know if there is ashortage of men and women

need somebody to look after them.

We're talking about shelter and clothing

and all the rest of it to be a lonely,

single woman in one of thoseenvironments was pretty tough.

So, it wasn't just sex,it was survival, okay.

- All right.

Laurie says:"You made acomment on September 9th about

"what the president wasthinking over a meeting

"with the Taliban.

"Shouldn't we try to talk to them,

"or should we just goover and annihilate them?

"What would Jesus do?

"Even the worst of worst people

"deserve a change toget it right, correct?"

- Oh, we're talkingabout at the beginning of

this program I was talkingabout the both of what you do.

And what happened with Adolf Hitler

and when he got withChamberlain in Munich,

he made concessions andthe thing about this is

if you are going to havea deal with somebody,

you got to make sure thatthe counter party is honest

and honorable and that

what they're asking for is legitimate.

If they're not legitimate,

so the Taliban are a bunch of thugs.

They have mistreated women.

They have denied education to young girls.

They had people goingaround whipping women

if they weren't dressedaccording to their standards.

I mean it was a terrible group of people.

And to take them toCamp David and give them

the respect of the Presidentof the United States,

that isn't the thing to do.

So what should we do?

Well, I think we oughtto resist them strongly

and not turn that countryover to their influence.

I just think they're terrible.

The same thing with thatbunch of thugs in North Korea.

You know the Kim family

has been the most repressiveprobably in the world

what's been done toChristians in North Korea.
