Hailed as the Queen of Soul,

she's one of the greatestsingers of all time.

- My dad had to push my to sing, though.

I really didn't wanna sing.

- [Efrem] That voice earnedMiss Franklin 18 Grammy awards

and countless fans

who are mourning her deathall around the world.

Public viewings are scheduledfor August 28th and 29th.

Her private funeral is August31st in her hometown, Detroit.

- Strong is born from the obstacles

that we overcome.

Pain is inevitable.

died the exact same day asthe King of Rock and Roll

some 41 years ago.

And Elvis Presley's new gospel album,

Where No One Stands Alone,

enters the Billboard Christianalbum chart at number one.

- It's a first for the legendary artist

whose daughter joins him on the project.

At that young age,

could you feel or sensethere was something different

about those songs when he sang them?

- Definitely.

I feel that...

Yeah, there was somethingthat was just so...

It was probably comfortingto him, I'm guessing,

because it was somethingthat he did very, very often.

You wouldn't necessarilyhear him breaking out

in, you know, any other songs,

like Suspicious Minds or Trouble.

But you could tell that's whatmoved him the most, for sure.

- And that begins the countdown

and brings us to what's newat the box office this week.

This story follows Jewish Nazi hunters

set out to find and capturea former SS officer.

Based on a true story,

here's your Studio 5 FirstLook at Operation Finale.

That's filmmaker Christopher Weitz at work

directing Operation Finale.

It's a real life historicaldrama shot in Argentina.

- We have our guy.

It's Adolf Eichmann.

- Well, let's go.

- This is a country full of ex-Nazis.

They're all over the city.

- Start the engine.

(suspenseful, rhythmic music)

- Adolf Eichmann wasless famous than Hitler,

but equally lethal and horrifica figure in the Holocaust.

- I'm offering you a fair trial.

- You want me to stand trialin place of an entire regime?

- Eichmann used to say "I wasa small cog in the machine,"

but, actually, he was the machine.

- He was a very ambitious,manipulative person

and the extent of hiscrimes are not covered

just by someone who followed orders.

- What compels me to play Adolf Eichmann

is the true story of thecapturing of a monster

and honoring all that monster's victims.

- Eichmann, the architect ofthe Holocaust, has been found.

A call comes into the Mossadthat he is in Argentina.

A group is assembledto go to Buenos Aires.

I play Peter Malkin,

who wrote a book calledEichmann In My Hands.

- If it is him, we need an elite crew.

- I'm not joining your heat squad.

- I play Rafi Eitan,

who is a Mossad agent andorganized the team of people

who went to extract Eichmann.

- Is this about the Astypalaiathing because to be honest,

I've read maybe 70% of the briefing.

- No, it is not.

- Okay, good because it's more like 30%.

Finale?

- Aharoni's out there now

running reconnaissance of Buenos Aires

with our guy at the Embassy.

Our contact's daughter, Sylvia Herman,

has agreed to take us toKlaus Eichmann's family home.

If it is Eichmann,

they will attempt toget a positive photo ID.

- Why didn't you ask me?

Aharoni's an interrogator.

- Precisely.

I wanted someone who wouldinterrogate the evidence

rather than just shoot at it.

This is strictly catch and extract.

- Raf, if it is him,

a bullet would be easierthan dragging him here.

- Eichmann will standtrial here in Israel.

- Trial?

Nobody needs to hear what he has to say.

- The Prime Minister disagrees.

A trial will help put all of this to bed.

After all,

not everyone's as emotionallybalanced as you are.

- What drew you to this particular film?

What drew you to this film?

- Yeah, as a matter of fact,

What drew me to InterviewWith God is the same thing

that draws me to allthe projects that I do.

I seek to do projects thatare entertaining, sure,

but also have something underlying.

With the death of musicicon Aretha Franklin,

so many of us are playing and replaying

our favorite Aretha tunes.

Never Grow Old is my personal favorite,

but her acting debut in The Blues Brothers

brought us all Freedom,

and it is what's playingin my ear this week.

- A very familiar tune,

but we also have new music

and a new voice in therecording world this week

and it comes with a much needed message.

We're sitting down with Brian Dyson

to show you why he'sthis week's One to Watch.

- We are here in Studio5 with Brian Dyson.

Your new album, it's called Charades.

So what inspired this project?

- 2017 in May.

This only happened to me twice

where I just felt like the Holy Spirit

spoke pretty clearly to me,not audibly, but really clearly

and he just told me, he waslike, you need to do this EP.

And I've been thinkin'about it for a while,

like a little worship EP and stuff,

because I've been writingfor 10 years or so.

But I just felt like he waspressin' on me to do it.

♪ Rest through the night ♪

- So what's your prayer for this album?

- That people just be able toencounter God in a fresh way

and realize that you don't haveto have everything together,

you don't have to be perfect,you don't have to be polished,

you just gotta come just as you are.

♪ Jesus, my strength ♪

- Isaiah, it says, it'sthe message version, says,

God's like, sick of the Israelite stuff.

He says, I don't want your compasses,

your worship charades,your religious games,

and all those things you're doing for me

because you're getting so caught up

in doing these things for me

that you're forgetting why you do it.

You're forgetting it's about me,

it's about walking with me daily,

it's about surrender, it'sabout connecting with me,

and everything else flows from that.

So, for me, it was justGod was teaching me like,

just come as you are.

There's always an invitation here.

You're always welcome here.

With all your junk, with all your stuff.

♪ Through the night ♪

- So as a worship leaderwith a new worship album,

what does worship mean to you?

- It's just being real.

It's just, God, whateveryou wanna do today,

I wanna be a part of that.

Whatever your purpose is today,I wanna be a part of that.

Then I pray that whatever Iput my hands to that you've...

At my job right now, thatwhen I put my hands to it,

I'm doing the best ofmy ability that I can

and I'm growing and I'm tryingto get better and honor him.

♪ And I hope ♪

♪ Strong tower I know ♪

- What's your message for churches today?

- People are lookin' for authenticity

and looking for leaderswho are gonna keep it real

because at the end of the day

we're all in the same boat, right?

We're all sinners and we all need Jesus.

It's that simple.

We feel like we haveto have it all together

and the truth is,

like I was saying about Charades,

we don't.

We're constantly in need of God.

It's okay to struggle

and it's okay to not have a perfect life

or not look the part,

(brief pause)

and be honest about it.

♪ Love that carries me ♪

When we try to act likewe have it all together,

we try to act like we're good,you know, I'm good now, God,

we lose our dependency on him,

but we also I feel likewe rob him of his glory.

When we're trying to do it on our own

we're saying, God, we're good without you.

Man, to be honest, to betruthful, God can work with that.

That all he requiresis just honesty, right?

He just requires us to come to and honesty

and he does the rest.

and the victims of the bombing

at her concert last summer in Manchester.

- It's just about beingthere for each other

and helping each other throughscary times and anxiety.

Mental health is so important

and people don't pay enough mind to it

because we have things to do.

So I felt like it was important.

I just wanted to givepeople a hug musically.

I feel like the lyricscan be kind of corny

when I talk about wantingto hug you and stuff,

but I really do.

- The film Running for Grace

shines a powerful spotlighton the importance of adoption.

At the center of the story isan orphan whose physical speed

allows him to deliver medicineto poor coffee pickers

in the mountains of Hawaii.

But then he falls in love

with the daughter ofthe plantation's owner.

It's in theaters right now.

- I'm gonna have you cometo this place, right?

He's gonna be really yellin' at you.

And action, car!

- [Efrem] That's filmmakerDavid Cunningham at work

on the film Running for Grace.

It's set in Hawaii in the 1920s.

- During that time,

there was laws about racial integrity

where it was actually illegal

to adopt children of mixed ethnicities.

Jo is half-Caucasian and half-Japanese

and rejected by both communities.

A new doctor comes to town,played by Matt Dillon,

and takes the boy under his wing.

- What's with that kid?

- He just showed up out of nowhere.

- Where's your parents?

All right, kid, come on,you can live with me.

I'm the new doctor for the plantation.

If any of you are sick or get hurt

you just see Jo and he'll come get me.

- When I read the scriptI said right away,

this is why this is really good

because this is very specific,

and very authentic, and very real.

The coffee fields, the plantation,

the prejudices in society at that time.

- You know, Jo, you seem pretty smitten

with the big man's pretty daughter.

I need your help.

I've got another one like this.

(upbeat music)

- Miss Grace has hurt her ankle.

- Miss Grace?

- Let's just show 'em thatyou're a qualified assistant.

- [Efrem] Cunninghamisn't just a filmmaker.

He comes from generations of missionaries

on both sides of his family.

- This particular film is allabout the power of adoption.

Adoption is the gospel andthe gospel is adoption.

- [Efrem] Jim Caviezel alsostars in this powerful story.

- I think it's a film

that will really resonate with the people.

It has great redemption to it.

- I have been trying to adopt this kid.

I believe this young manhas a base of a physician.

- Perhaps you'd like tobe on a winning team.

- A distinguished doctor

has taken an interest in you, my dear.

- A miracle.

- Selling your onlydaughter off as a miracle?

- I wouldn't give up if I were you.

You're meant to be with Grace.

- We turn now from the bigscreen to the small screen.

Season one of the CBS series SEAL Team

is now available on DVD,

and it is time for the secondseason of the storyline

that follows the mostelite unit of Navy SEALs

who are deployed on clandestinemissions around the world.

Take a look.

- Are you very decent?

- Whoa, when'd you become so delicate?

- Your agency keeps sending HR memos

warning us not to make ouroperators feel objectified.

- What happens if we ask real nice?

- Okay, um...

So, did Pazir say anything

before you guys handedhim over to the MPs?

- I think his loosetranslation was (screaming).

- No, he wasn't toochatty, that's for sure.

- Yeah, in fairness,

we did kick in his doorat two in the morning,

shwack his bodyguards,and sick a dog on him.

- In fairness.

(laughter)

All right.

- And joining us now is A.J. Buckley,

one of the stars of SEAL Team.

Thank you so much for being here.

I've heard you call this a dream role.

Why is that?

- Yeah, it's a dream role by far.

As an actor, you know, you show up to set

or you go through hair and makeup

and you sort of hit scene to scene.

This one, you know, you show up

and you're flying in blackhawks and drivin' in boats.

It's just every guy's dream this role.

And the pedigree of producerthat are involved, the writing,

and we have former special forces guys

that are on set with us all day.

I could not ask for a better job.

- Now, you play the role of Sonny Quinn.

Tell us, how authentic are the stories

you guys are projecting for us?

- Well, something that Itake great pride in is that

over 50% of our crew are all veterans.

All of our stud team areformer special forces guys.

So for us as actors on set,

there's nothing that we can do

that isn't authentic to the world

and it's a responsibility thateveryone takes great pride

and is representing theseguys in the right light.

So in that case...

If there's a director on setthat's doing something wrong,

the special forces guys can step in

and say that this isn't how we would do it

so it's just somethingI'm really proud of.

- What can people lookforward to with season two?

Season one in the books,available on DVD now.

What can we see in season two?

- Season two startsoff really heavy-handed

in the drama department.

We are back from deployment

and it sort of delves into the adjustment

that these men and women have to make

when they have to adjust to civilian life

and how hard that can be with their PTSD,

with their family, just doingthe regular day to day stuff,

and coming off the battlefieldand shifting gears.

And it really explores how hard it can be

for these men and women.

- What lessons have youtaken from this role?

You're embarking on seasontwo having done season one.

What lessons are youpersonally taking from this?

- Just how grateful Iam for the men and women

that serve this country, how hard it is.

You know, I'm just anactor portraying somebody

that has done something extraordinary

and I'm very grateful

to get to work with theseguys every single day,

but yeah, I'm just incredibly grateful

for what these guys have done.

- I am, as well,

and I had an opportunityto talk to many veterans.

What have they taught you?

What you've taken awaybecause I know you engage

and interact with some reallife members of the military?

What have you learned?

- Mental toughness.

You can have all the physicalattributes in the world,

but it's how strong the mind is

and what you can overcomein dire situations

when you are able to be mentally strong.

And, for me, these guys...

It's not even a word I can describe

of mental toughness to their level.

It's pretty extraordinarywhat they've had to endure,

what they've done for over 20years serving this country,

and how they can stillhave a smile on their face.

And I was saying earlier,

I asked one of the guys the other day,

I said, if you could do itover, would you do it again?

You know, he said, "Without a doubt.

"I wouldn't change it for anything."

And, to me, for what theseguys have been through,

and how intense their life has been,

and what sacrifices they had to give up,

for them to say it soquickly is pretty honorable.

- Well, we're veryexcited about season two.

and this week our teacher isactor and model Denzel Wells.

We caught up with him

as he toured with thestage play, Unfaithful.

- Everybody has their own faith,

everybody had their own beliefs,

but as it pertains to just me,just me, how I live my life,

I didn't do it by myself.

I didn't do it by myself and what is it?

Pride comes before a hardy fall.

So, looking back on my life

and not even just the past five, six years

of being in acting or being an actor,

I look at all of my lifeand how it's all led to this

and I honestly don'tfeel that acting is it.

I don't feel he's put me inthis position to have a voice,

to have a following,

and acting be the onlything that I do in this life

or these years that he gives me.

I mean, average life expectancy is 76

so, you know, I got 40, 50 years

to make my impact on this world

and do for others as he has done for me.

- Denzel Wells, thank youfor that wisdom for living.
