- And just really, topoint towards Jesus and say
that's the only thing thatcould bring us together.
And I'm here because Ijust want to show people
that I love them.
I see the crime all the timeand I hear it on the news,
and you know, I think alot of us just sit around
our living rooms and go wow,you know, what can we do.
And so, the first thingyou can do is do something.
So, I showed up here andjust walked in and just,
yeah just hugging onpeople and loving them
and tell we love them.
A lot of people had seen ourshow and so, it's just good.
- [Reporter] What was the feedback
that some of them gave you?
- It was great, yeah, a lotof people watched the show.
And I know it was strange to see me here
and I was a little out of place, you know,
wondering what I'm doing walking around.
But yeah, we just told themwe're here because we love them
and just wanted to hug on them
and try to show Jesus through our lives.
- [Reporter] What do you hope comes from
you being here toady?
- Well, I hope that, Ihope that first of all
the people here see that people love them,
and they care aboutthem, they will show up
in their neighborhoods where they live
and they're not afraid and will show up
with a positive message.
And yeah, I just hope that themessage of Jesus and his love
you know, can somehowpermeate out in the cities
and with some of the people who, you know,
are violent and are hurting each other,
and lives can change.
And so, I've seen that in Demoss's life
and in this story thispowerful story about
he used to be a, youknow, a really bad guy.
And, much like my father, you know, was a bad guy.
And so I've seen thattransformation in people's lives,
and it affects generations after that.
My father coming to theLord affected my life,
and now it's affected my children's lives,
and so, you know, we can turn this around,
and Jesus can do that.
And he is the answer, I believe,to a lot of these problems.
