Pastor Hagee: Why Christians Must Do More Than Just Pray for Israel

Pastor Hagee: Why Christians Must Do More Than Just Pray for Israel Read Transcript

[AUDIO OUT]

Our audience, who is very supportive of Israel,

how can they be praying for the country of Israel?

The way the Christians can be praying for Israel

is that God be the defender of Israel.

They can do more than pray, they can become active

in their support of Israel.

The Jewish people feel isolated in Israel.

They can go to Israel.

When you go to Israel, it is a thrilling experience

because you're walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

And the Bible is a book that becomes alive

when you walk the ancient streets

of the city of Jerusalem.

So I think to pray and to do is something

that brings great comfort to the heart of every believer.

Well, thank you pastor.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

I'd like to ask the listening audience

to pray on a regular basis for the peace of Jerusalem

because Jerusalem is the epicenter of the universe

in the mind of God.

Not mine.

Not America's.

Not Russia's.

But in the mind of God, Jerusalem is the epicenter.

It is the place where Abraham placed Isaac on the altar.

It is the place where the first temple and the second temple

were built. It is the place where Jesus Christ

is going to sit on the throne of his father, King David,

and rule the world.

There is a supernatural war right now

that is waging and is soon going to rupture

into a literal warfare over the peace of Jerusalem.

The prince of darkness wants that for the Antichrist.

The King of kings wants that for King Jesus.

So when you're praying for peace in Jerusalem,

you're praying for the peace of the world.

But you're also praying for the sovereign will of God

to defend the Jewish people and to defend the state of Israel.
