PAT ROBERTSON: All right.
Well, we've got some questions
to "Bring it on" at this point.
Pat, this is from
Brian who says,
"I am a Christian young man
who tries to visit church
as much as possible,
but I'm not sure
if our pastor's
doing a good job.
He always asks this
congregation for money.
At first, we thought this
money was going to our church.
But it turns out that our pastor
used some for a strip club.
We asked him about this,
and he denied everything.
Still, we have a witness who saw
him take the money from church
before going into
the strip club.
What should we do?
Do we let this be
or ask for help?"
I'll tell you, I wouldn't want
to be in that pastor's place
for all the money in the world.
You take God's money and
use it in a strip club?
Yeah.
You don't let that
be [INAUDIBLE].
You ask the question,
I'd get out of that church.
That thing is corrupt.
And the fact that the elders
haven't fired the guy,
they should have brought
a legal action against him
if he's taken money.
You take nonprofit
money and put it
in your own pocket,
that is a bad thing.
But get out of that and get to
a place where they love God,
and they're honest and honorable
in their dealings, all right?
This is Jennifer who
says, "In Luke 8 and Mark 5,
there is the story of Jesus
healing Jairus' daughter.
What I don't understand is why
Jesus told them strictly not
to tell anyone what happened.
How could they not let people
know what Jesus did for them?"
Well, look.
There are different times.
The pressure in those
days was to make him king.
They didn't want a
Savior spiritual.
They wanted a political leader
to rise up against Rome.
That's what they wanted.
That's what they thought
the Messiah was going to do.
And so the danger of every time
he did a miracle or something
like that was the
crowd would say,
well, we want to make you king.
And Jesus didn't want
that, so they said, look,
just chill over
there on the side.
Keep it quiet.
And I've done my thing, and
I want to keep on doing it,
but I'm here spiritually.
I am not a political leader,
and I'm not going to be king.
That's what it was all about.
