Hey, this is James
[? Gall. ?] Have you ever
gone through like a hard time?
Or like a day when you wanted to
stay in bed and keep the covers
pulled up over your head?
I have.
And I am a Christian.
In fact, I'm a minister.
I know what Psalm 91
says, and I believe it.
That he who dwells in the sacred
place of the most high God
shall abide under the
shadow of Almighty.
I did not question that at all.
But sometimes my experience
doesn't seem like it always
matches up to the word of God.
But when that happens, I'm
going to tell you something
that I chose to do in my life.
I lost my wife to cancer, OK?
I went through nine
years of cancer.
So what are you going to
do with stuff like that?
I had to go back and re-evaluate
what do I really believe.
Who am I?
And I came up with
three basic conclusions.
Number one, God is
good all the time.
Period.
Really, it's the truth.
I got in here a
greater revelation
of the goodness of God.
Next thing was I re-established
another principle:
all things work together
for good, Roman's eight.
All things.
Doesn't say some things.
All things work
together for good.
For those who love God have
been called to his purpose.
Well that is me and that's you.
But it doesn't say
God causes everything
and doesn't say that everything
that happens in your life
is good.
But here is what it says.
God will cause all things
to work together for good.
I call it the mystery and
the majesty of Christ.
And number three, if
those two things are true
the third is true also.
Something good is
just about to happen.
Because in God's majesty
and in his mysteries
he will take and fashion
everything we go through
and work it into something
that will glorify him.
So anyway, this is James
Gall, that's my story
and I'm sticking to it.
