Time to Bring It On
with some of the email
questions you all have sent in.
And Pat, this first
one comes from Ben.
He says, "My sister told me
today that she sees ghosts.
She talks about seeing
dark clouds of smoke
and that she sees our
dead relatives' faces.
I want to believe in spirits.
But a part of me is scared.
She also feels,
quote, 'bad energy'
when things are going wrong
with other people-- fighting,
arguing, et cetera.
I don't know how to take it.
It worries me, but she says
the spirits aren't mean
and are in limbo.
Is this Biblical?"
PAT ROBERTSON: No.
It's not Biblical at all.
It's evil.
And, you know, there
are demonic spirits.
There is no question.
The Bible talks about
evil spirits, demons
that Jesus cast out.
And these things are demonic.
And your sister is being
overwhelmed by demonic power.
And, you know,
they're deceptive.
You know, there are
also familiar spirits
that come back looking like
relatives and so forth.
So the answer is she needs
to have somebody pray
and set her free from the stuff.
This is Karen who
says, "Could you
ask Pat to reveal what
fish oil he uses?"
Come on, Pat, let us know.
All right.
I use Norwegian Fish Oil.
It's very good.
I get at the thing.
They wrote me on the thing.
Let me see if this is the one.
OK, it is Cod Liver
Oil with Lemon.
It's put out by Carlson Labs.
And it's Norwegian
Cod Liver Oil.
And you can take it in the
teaspoon and no bad taste
at all.
It's Omega 3, no
fishy taste at all.
No fishy taste, but getting
it down might be another story.
Lemon!
Lemon?
I mean, it tastes good--
you know, no problem, OK?
OK.
This is Ashley who says, "I had
a good job with a good company.
But my bipolar depression
got the better of me
and the job was lost.
I now work only part time.
It doesn't pay the bills even
with my husband's really good
job.
Our credit cards are
almost maxed out,
and I have outstanding
medical bills.
We've cut everything we
can out of our expenses.
I've prayed about it.
But I think my lack of faith
previously has made God angry
and not want to help.
I just don't know what to do."
PAT ROBERTSON:
Listen, God is God.
He doesn't get angry
at you because you
didn't do something.
You know, He loves you.
And He wants to help you.
What you need to begin to do
is to speak to the environment.
You know, speak to
the money you need.
I know it sounds weird.
But it's the way it works.
In the name of Jesus,
you pray for the Lord.
Lord, I need some help.
And then ask Him
for some concepts.
There's got to be
something you can do.
I mean, people can
get on the telephone
and get paid to make telephone
calls at home, for instance.
And there are many other
ways that you can earn money.
And you just need Him
to give you the answer.
But God's not mad at you.
He loves you.
