Welcome back.

We want to take some time to answer some of the email

questions that you've sent in, so let's bring it

on this morning.

This is Rhonda, Pat, who says, as Christians,

how do we reach out to everyone per our commission?

Well, the Bible says let your light so

shine before men that they will see your good works

and glorify your Father in Heaven.

I think our light is more important.

Are you honest in your dealing?

Do you cheat people?

Are you kind and loving?

Are you happy with what you do?

Do you bring up your children in the nurture and admonition

of the Lord?

In every dealing with people, they'll see who you are.

And they want to know what is it about you.

You can always talk, but talk is cheap,

but your actions-- you say, how do we witness to everybody?

That's how.

Let your light so shine before men.

That's what the Bible says.

What else?

This is Grace, who says can God forgive

someone who sinned with a girl?

I was gullible enough to have sex with a girl

because she said that it was right.

But then I became a Christian, and I broke up

the friendship after that.

I haven't forgiven myself for falling into those lies.

How can God forgive me, and how can I forgive myself?

Look, all manner of sins and blasphemy

will be forgiven the sons of man.

What you're saying is you entered into a lesbian

relation that was a girl, and the two of you

were attracted to each other for a point of time,

and you had a sexual relation.

Listen.

How many people in this world have

fallen into some sexual sin?

God forgives.

That isn't the ultimate sin.

I think some of the sins of slander and backbiting

are probably worse than the sex sins,

but we talk more about the sex sins.

God will forgive you everything.

How do you forgive?

Just ask him.

Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all is within me.

Bless his holy name who forgives all your inequities

and heals all your diseases.

He is a God looking to forgive and bring you

into his fellowship.

That's what he wants-- not for you to be tormented by the fact

that you had a fall.

Because everybody does.

We're all sinners-- all, everybody.

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

Everybody.

OK?

All right.

This is Ruth, who say, Pat, I started attending a new church,

but I have real concerns about the senior pastor.

Last week, he stated that he does not

believe God is all-knowing.

He believes God does not know what decisions people will

make before they make them.

Jesus knew Peter would deny him before it happened.

What do you think?

He also doesn't believe Christians

should be involved in politics.

Look, people say about these churches-- it's a free country.

All you gotta do is walk down the street to the next church.

You don't have to sit on if it's nonsense as this.

This man is-- he doesn't know what he's doing.

He's lost faith.

Well, there are many so-called men of God who are confused.

Look at Jim Jones and all the mess that went on with him.

There are so many who claim to be Christians, claim to be

this, that, and the other.

You've got that Jeffs guy they put in prison

for all the stuff he was doing, and he

was supposed to be an elder.

Just get out.

It's that simple.

Just walk.

So he's bad.

So just get out.

This is Ella, who says I was not committed to my marriage,

but God has made me realize I need to be.

My kids need me, and my husband is committed to me.

How do I forgive myself?

Remember that rock singer that I had to-- God forgave me

and I had to forgive me.

We have to forgive ourselves.

So you screwed up.

So we all do.

So you come before the Lord and say, Lord, here's what I did.

I ask you to forgive me.

And God will forgive you, and then you forgive yourself.

You can't-- look, God says you've got to-- I want you

to have your conscience cleansed from dead work that you might

serve the living God.

What God wants is your love, and he wants your service.

He doesn't want you to be beating yourself

up and carrying around a load of guilt.

That doesn't do God any good.

He wants you free of that so that you can serve him.

And that's why he says I will freely

forgive your sins and your backsliding

into transgressions.

The Bible is full of it.

Go to Concordance and look under the word "forgive"

and see how often it talks about the Lord forgiving.

This is Alex, who says I've been reading lately

in 1 Corinthians 12, mostly about

the discerning of spirits.

What do you guys know about supernatural discernment?

Is there such a thing as that?

Yes, it is.

It's one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

It is not discerning daemons.

It is discerning spirits.

Jesus looked at a man, and he said behold an Israelite

in whom there is no guile.

He discerned his spirit.

And there is a gift.

One of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, discerning spirit,

is you begin to see the spirit behind the mask.

We all have masks.

And you begin to see the spirit.

And that is a gift of the Holy Spirit.

But hey, that's just one of the wonderful things

that God gives to the people who are close to him.

We leave you with today's Power Minute from Jeremiah 33:3.

Call unto me, and I will answer you,

and I will show you great and mighty things which you do not

know.

Well, for Terry and Wendy and all of us,

this is Pat Robertson, and we'll see you tomorrow.
