The Need

The sooner the government of Iraq is strong and stable, the sooner U.S. and Coalition troops can come home.

Coalition nations want their soldiers home as soon as possible.
Iraqis wants their own government and a stable nation as soon as possible.
U.S. & Coalition troops cannot leave until that happens.
Iraqi government officials are priority targets for the insurgents.
This war must be won in the spiritual before it can be won in the natural. ( Eph 6. 10-12)
This is a simple, biblical plan to help end this war soon based on obedience to this scripture: “Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation.” 1Tim 2:2 (The Message)

God says that our prayers can enable government leaders to rule well—even in war-torn Iraq! Your prayers can help effect this Spiritual Exit Strategy -- and change the history of Iraq! The prayers of righteous people can change much! (James 5:16)

Here is the Biblical Exit Strategy

We are asking thousands of churches and individuals to adopt the newly-elected Iraqi leaders by name for six months of weekly prayer support in three areas:

For Safety: They and their families must survive the many attacks that will come.
For Wisdom: They must have the wisdom of God to rebuild their government and nation.
For Courage: To persevere in serving Iraq until the job is done.

Within three months, we intend to send each adopted Iraqi leader a list of hundreds -- perhaps thousands -- of Christians and churches in America and worldwide praying for them and their families by name for 180 days!

This kind of sustained prayer for Muslim leaders may never have been done before in Church history! This is a wonderful way to love Muslims with God’s love!
