Kirk Franklin Reveals All on Oprah
Christian media has known for a year or two about Kirk Franklin's addiction to pornography. He spoke with Scott Ross on The 700 Club last year about how he struggled in the midst of his successful Gospel music career.
Today, Kirk took his message worldwide as he appeared on the Oprah show. Oprah dedicated the entire program to the epidemic of porn addiction.
Kirk was candid and open, even down to the multiple partners he had before meeting Tammy and his "rock bottom" moment of digging through the trash for porn he'd thrown away.
The Gospel star displayed a lot of hope for addicts especially near the end when the sexual addiction expert claimed that addicts will always crave. Kirk spoke up and said that he no longer has a desire for porn.
Kirk is certainly not alone in his struggle under the limelight. Singer Clay Crosse ("I Surrender All") recently came forward with his testimony. Our own Belinda Elliott interviewed Clay and his wife this past July at CBA in Denver.
Being a leader in the Christian Internet industry, CBN.com is dedicated to helping people who are chained to their addiction.
