CBNNews.com - Not getting enough sleep might be linked to obesity in teenagers.
That's according to a study of sleeping patterns conducted by the University of Australia.
Researchers there say lack of sleep causes hormonal changes that triggers the weight increase.
Obese children sleep an average of 20 minutes less than underweight children.
TThe study also noted that lack of sleep contributed more to obesity than lack of exercise or excessive TV and computer use.
