David is in Oxford, Miss., at the Presidential debate. He is currently in the media room, chatting with surrogates from the various campaigns.
Moments ago he caught up with Nicole Wallace, who is one of John McCain's senior advisors.
Wallace has been through the "wars" helping devise strategy for President Bush and Vice President Cheney on their campaign.
