CWN.org - One missions team weathered a close call just before Hurricane Ike passed over Haiti.
A missions team from Lynden, Wash., was close by when Hurricane Hanna struck the island. When they learned that Hurricane Ike was coming right behind, they decided to leave.
The team made it out of Haiti just before Ike hit. Team leader Mike Leland shares their incredible journey. He credits a very large network of praying friends for the team's safe return.
