Dutch Sheets: Pray God's Will for Elections

Dutch Sheets felt that God was telling him in October 2002 that America would turn back to God as a nation if the Supreme Court would turn around, by appointing Godly judges that uphold the values of pro-family, pro-life, and stand for the Constitution.
Dutch was faithful to pray and even hold a call to prayer in 2005, when it came time to appoint another Supreme Court judge. Through diligent prayer efforts, Dutch believes that Judge John Roberts was able to take his place as the other righteous judge along with Sam Alito. Dutch believes it can happen again – some of his thoughts on judges, abortion and prayer points for the upcoming election are as follows:
America needs two more judges with righteous views. There is a danger of the Courts shifting. Make no mistake about it, the turning of the Supreme Court and reversing the flow of death and anti-God laws that have flowed out of it is still God’s number one governmental agenda for America. There has been some headway made with Roe v. Wade, but Christians can’t stop there. During the elections, it is important to consider this when casting your vote.
Please pray diligently for the elections. Pray for a president that will appoint Godly judges. As it says in Isaiah 1:26, “I will restore your judges as in days of old, your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you will be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City.” It is the key to turning this nation around, back to God. Christians need to stand up for the rights of the unborn. There needs to be a strong majority in the Supreme Court to do this, and that will be decided by who the next president will appoint.
For this election, it is important for people to pray for God’s will. We can’t base our votes on the war, economy, etc. – we need to base our vote on God’s issues, like abortion. We cannot shed any more innocent blood through abortion. We have to pray for God’s choice, a president who will appoint the right judges. Pray for a completion of what God has begun on the Supreme Court. Winning this war is imperative! Christians must pray, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done.”
